Isles of Scilly Camp

22nd June 2016

The week beginning Monday 6th June, twenty Y4 and Y5 children enjoyed a fun-filled week, in the sunshine, on the Isles of Scilly. Pupils took part in a range of activities throughout the week, including: beach scavenging; a day trip to St Agnes, where they experienced life on a farm, and sampled some of the delicious ice creams and sorbets produced there; a fishing trip (most children were lucky enough to catch a fish or two); all boys and girls participated in a sports tournament at The Five Islands School on St Mary’s; they watched the gig boats in a thrilling race and enjoyed some team building activities on the beach. It was a very busy week indeed! The group were a credit to our school, they were impeccably behaved and we received many compliments from members of the public.
